As California's "once in a generation" drought continues, reservoir water and groundwater reserves are at record lows. Will the tropical moisture streaming from Hurricane Norbert bring much needed rainfall this week? Will it help?

San Diego County Water Authority offers educational programs to help build awareness of important water issues. By teaching children about our local water resources, our programs help instill a knowledge and appreciation of this natural resource and foster an understanding of the need to protect our environment and use water wisely. For more than 30 years, the school education program has been a core component of the Water Authority’s community outreach efforts.

SDCWA ThisisSeriousAD 9 10 14 resized 600SDCWA also offers Adult and Community Education. The Speakers' Bureau is a free service to the community with topics such as water reliability, water transfers, legislation, and construction projects.
